This review separates the amount an announcement says was burned from the change between two post-announcement supply reports. It uses official events 36 and 37, checked through 2026-10-31. Different publication timestamps are not treated as a same-block on-chain audit.
| Burn number | Announcement date | Announced burn BNB | Post-announcement total supply BNB | Sources and verification |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 36 | 2026-07-15 | 1,615,827.795 | 133,166,127.91 | Announcement · BscScan |
| 37 | 2026-10-19 | 1,646,196.44 | 131,512,085 | Announcement · BscScan |
133,166,127.91 − 131,512,085 = 1,654,042.91 BNB 1,654,042.91 − 1,646,196.44 = 7,846.47 BNB (1,646,196.44 / 1,615,827.795 − 1) × 100 ≈ 1.88%
Calculations and evidence
Burn 37 reports 1,646,196.44 BNB, up 30,368.645 BNB or 1.88% from event 36. Reported remaining supply fell by 1,654,042.91 BNB between the announcements. The burn explains arithmetically 99.53% of that reduction, leaving 7,846.47 BNB unattributed.
Limits of interpretation
Subtraction alone cannot assign the residual entirely to BEP-95. Ongoing burning, observation timing, rounding and methodology revisions require separate evidence. Transaction links enable further checks; we do not claim an independent audit of the chain's balances.
Our conclusion is that announcements establish events while supply series enable reconciliation. A larger burn does not establish a price increase or measure the entire ecosystem. Explaining the residual would require original chain observations over the same interval.
